The Art of Listening and Creating
I really value listening and genuinely trying to understand people. That’s what connects both music and UX design for me. In both, it’s about tuning in to your audience, experimenting with ideas, and shaping something that really clicks and works well. I enjoy the whole process including the creativity, the challenges, and the satisfaction of making things happen. I care about people and their experiences, and that motivates me to create designs and music that actually resonate. To me, good design, like good music, is about moving people and that is what I aim for in everything I do. For me, the journey is the destination.
My Design Philosophy
Who I Am
I’m Marcus Wiman, 28 years old, and I’m a guitar player working toward becoming a UX designer soon. Running the Stockholm Marathon was a big moment for me. It really taught me that patience and steady effort pay off, even when things get tough. Outside of work and music, I enjoy spending time with my friends, girlfriend, and family. They keep me grounded and remind me what is truly important. I also have to admit that coffee is my daily ritual. It helps me wake up my brain and get creative ideas flowing.
